Acne Information for Adults
Have you outgrown your acne? If not, it's probably time to see your
dermatologist or other physician. Acne is the most common skin condition,
and women are twice as likely as men to develop it. As your skin matures,
so does the need for a more advanced acne medication that is both safe and
effective.
Differin
® is a topical retinoid that can get to the root of the problem. Not
only can it treat those lesions that are already present on your face, it can
also prevent the formation of new lesions. See for yourself – check out our
Before & After photos of patients who have used Differin
®.
To discover ways to help you achieve healthy skin, use these tips:
During the first few weeks of treatment with Differin
®, itching, dryness, redness,
burning or peeling may occur. Exposure to sunlight, including sunlamps, should be
minimized during the use of Differin
®. Use of sunscreen and protective clothing over
treated areas is recommended when exposure cannot be avoided. As with other acne
medications, overexposure to extreme wind or cold or use of irritating skin care
products may aggravate the skin. Talk to your doctor if these effects become bothersome.
